Jurassic World
Once again Steven Spielberg has returned to grace us with the seemingly long awaited instalment for the incredibly popular series Jurassic Park, this time being remade as Jurassic World. Once again humans think they can over power the dinosaurs and once again they fail and in this case it is against a genetically mutated dinosaur the “Indominus Rex”. Jurassic world sees 13 year olds become mechanical engineers, only one inexperienced pilot able to fly a helicopter and some awkward and blatantly obvious awkward love scenes between characters. The dinosaurs are possible the only cool thing about this movie, making the velociraptors the stars once again the stars of the film.

Never Back Down
Never Back Down is a martial arts film set in the United States starring Sean Farris as the main character Jake Tyler. The story begins as Jake moves to a new town for the reason of supporting his brothers pro tennis career. Jake, himself was an all star football player at his old high school, but in his new town he was gaining a rapid reputation of a fighter due to one video of him leaked sparring at one of his football games. Like anyone would to, he clings to the first friend he makes and attends a party she invites him to with an attempt to fit in. However the party was far from his expectations, the whole community he had moved into was based around martial arts and sparring, Jake wants to prove himself to the girl next door and to those around him, however this perspective doesn’t stick with his family.
This movie is truly inspirational and is definitely recommended for anyone (15+ Strong violence).

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1 & 2
Splitting the final Harry Potter book into two separate movies was a stroke of genius from the production team. The final movie captures the final books intensity to the key leaving almost nothing out, which seemingly impressed the book lovers out there. The final battle with Voldemort and Harry left viewers sitting on the edge of their seats. With twists and turns at every point this movie made us fall in love with our favourite characters all over again. The final scene skipping forward to 19 years later leaves the audience with a proper closure from one of the most amazing series of all time.

Gogglebox Australia
This show just returned for its second season after mixed reactions to the first. In a nut shell, Gogglebox follows many different kinds of Australian families across the country as they watch popular television programmes of that particular week. Although this concept seems fairly idiotic, it can also be entertaining as you can see how different audiences across Australia view the same programmes that you do. You will find yourself either laughing with them, or laughing at them. Either way it is a nice bit of light entertainment the whole family can enjoy.

Inside out
Inside out is the newest installation from Pixar animation creating a seemingly dark twist on what a children’s movie is supposed to be. Focusing the movie on a young girl ‘Riley’ the story follows her journey of moving from her home town Minnesota to the larger city of San Francisco. Although the story doesn’t follow Riley on the outside but focuses on her emotions Joy, Angry, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and how this transition to a new school, new friends and new family life affects her on the inside. Inside out is a movie that appeals to people of all ages with its cute animations and witty adult humour this is a must see movie of the year.

Fear the Walking Dead
Fear the Walking Dead premiered a few weeks ago attracting over 10 million viewers in the US alone. As a prequel to the currently on hiatus hit TV drama The Walking Dead, it has been quite a success. The series takes place during the time in which Rick Grimes (one of the main protagonists in The Walking Dead) is in a coma. During this coma, the zombie apocalypse begins as disease and desperation takes over the world. Particularly, the introduction to the show is captivating and intriguing drawing in viewers from the first minute of air time. Fear the Walking Dead doesn't move too fast in terms of death and destruction but rather utilizes the time they've been given to realistically display the slow and steady ruination of society whilst simultaneously remaining dramatic and gruesome.
After airing 2 episodes, the show has left it's millions of viewers on a cliff hanger during a 1 week hiatus which is both frustrating as well as an effective method of keeping their audience hungry for more.
