MTV Review Video

The video we have created is how an MTV ISYS100 interviewer would conduct a professional interview with actors from one of the movies we have delightfully reviewed.

Each members contributions, Nill assisted with the directing and entire interview process as the interviewer, Erin was the main producer of the video with her exceptional camerawork skills as well as playing a cast member from the Avengers series, Mike assisted in the overall editing and finalisation of the film, as well as Erin, he played a cast member from the Avengers series.

Jurassic World

Once again Steven Spielberg has returned to grace us with the seemingly long awaited instalment for the incredibly popular series Jurassic Park, this time being remade as Jurassic World. Once again humans think they can over power the dinosaurs and once again they fail and in this case it is against a genetically mutated dinosaur the “Indominus Rex”. Jurassic world sees 13 year olds become mechanical engineers, only one inexperienced pilot able to fly a helicopter and some awkward and blatantly obvious awkward love scenes between characters. The dinosaurs are possible the only cool thing about this movie, making the velociraptors the stars once again the stars of the film.

Archer

Archer is a comedy adult cartoon TV series, which highlights the lives of seret agents working for the U.S. Agency ISIS. The main character, Sterling Archer is said to be the best secret agent in the world, however throughout the series he is portrayed as the exact opposite, doing things such as exposing his affiliated undercover agents, and general constant unprofessionalism. This series is generally reccommended  to people aged 18-25 who have an open mind to course humour as there are countless sexual references and accounts of violence.

It highlights the lives of eccentric millionaires of the time specifically Jay Gatsby, with the story told through the eyes of an outsider named Nick Carraway, who happened to be a small neighbour to the Gatsby mansion and becoming quite a dear companion due to a surprising connection, Nick is recounting upon his encounters with the millionaire. Never Back Down

Never Back Down is a martial arts film set in the United States starring Sean Farris as the main character Jake Tyler. The story begins as Jake moves to a new town for the reason of supporting his brothers pro tennis career. Jake, himself was an all star football player at his old high school, but in his new town he was gaining a rapid reputation of a fighter due to one video of him leaked sparring at one of his football games. Like anyone would to, he clings to the first friend he makes and attends a party she invites him to with an attempt to fit in. However the party was far from his expectations, the whole community he had moved into was based around martial arts and sparring, Jake wants to prove himself to the girl next door and to those around him, however this perspective doesn’t stick with his family.

This movie is truly inspirational and is definitely recommended for anyone (15+ Strong violence).

Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1 & 2

Splitting the final Harry Potter book into two separate movies was a stroke of genius from the production team. The final movie captures the final books intensity to the key leaving almost nothing out, which seemingly impressed the book lovers out there. The final battle with Voldemort and Harry left viewers sitting on the edge of their seats. With twists and turns at every point this movie made us fall in love with our favourite characters all over again. The final scene skipping forward to 19 years later leaves the audience with a proper closure from one of the most amazing series of all time.

Gogglebox Australia

This show just returned for its second season after mixed reactions to the first. In a nut shell, Gogglebox follows many different kinds of Australian families across the country as they watch popular television programmes of that particular week. Although this concept seems fairly idiotic, it can also be entertaining as you can see how different audiences across Australia view the same programmes that you do. You will find yourself either laughing with them, or laughing at them. Either way it is a nice bit of light entertainment the whole family can enjoy.
